Nightlife on the squares of the Miranese

Eight towns, eight squares and eight unmissable events will liven up the warm summer nights of the Miranese area, which has been a trendy hospot for years thanks to its happening “Notti Bianche” (white nights).

Every Saturday, starting from the end of May until the end of July, the “Notti Biance” exerts a pull on visitos and locals alike and attracts 180.000 people thanks to the comprehensive participation of over 300 businesses and shops, the true heart and mind of the initiative – says Ennio Gallo, hotelier and event organizer.

Salzano, Olmo, Mirano, Scorzè, Maerne, Spinea, Noale, Martellago are the eight towns that contrbute to create the lively atmosphere of the “Notti Bianche”, an event in the evening under the stars that smell of summer from sunset untl past midnight. These have become a regular fixture of the Venetian summer. Each one of their squares will be stage for live music, concerts, dance performances and magic shows that cater for all ages and tastes. They will host sports, expos and cultural exhibitions of every sort from sunset until midnight, but also fashion shows, circus arts, exhibitions of old crafts and activities for family and children. Miranese’s exciting nightlife has something for everyone and the options are endless when it comes to entertainment.

The stalls of the town square at night will take you on a mouth-watering clinary journey that will tickle your taste buds with local products and traditional meals. In short, a 360 degree entertainment for every one. Events such as the walk down the 1 km long square of Spinea’s “Notte Gialla”, ot the candlelight dinner in the heart of Mirano, just to name a few, are also some unmissable treats.

Every town wears its own traditional colour: lilian for Salzano, gold for Olmo, white for Mirano, blue for Scorzè, light blue for Maerne, yellow for Spinea, pink for Noale and red for Martellago. Store owners will compete in showcasting the best merchandise dressed in their local colours and for one night a year they will be open until late.
